vee ar zie robots

remember how i hooked you on kraftwerk, love?
i saw them live.

that was surreal. 23 years ago - your age ago - i built reel to reel tape recorder, and "ja tvoi sluga" was the first melody blasting from it.

they are as good as ever, but oh my god, are they old!
they even brought the robots!
before second encore, everybody was holding up lit cellphones instead of lighters. how fitting.
the geekiness in the air was so thick you could use it to light the led array with it.

if only i didn't miss so much your little hand in mine, walking down the streets of downtown on this unusually warm evening, whistling "i am operator with my pocket calculator". if only.
