cats and gods

between us two, cats, and gods, we have something in common, which sets us apart from the flock. we accept both praise and disapproval with equal puzzlement. i am what i am. IHVH. just bring us sacrifice, admire us in awe, or turn away in fear.

between us two, and cats, it's curiosity. insatiable desire to understand, experience and feel.

between us two, it's unconditional, overwhelming love. hard to breath, lighting up eyes, swelling with desire and admiration, communicating across borders, emetic missing, love.

between you and me, love, it's life. beating heart, contraptions of lungs, straggling brain. not enough purity. waiting.
