xmas story

imagine a brilliant, hot, successful guy, second generation of a russian aristocratic family living in idaho. on a flight to australia, he meets a girl. they fall in love, madly, immediately and irreversibly. she decides to move in with him, he decided to take a break from his career and go with her on a six month car trip around america. it is only the third time they meet. on a highway to another state, he is driving, car accident, his fault, he survives, she is dead. he never was the same.

it is comforting that i cannot rationally blame the death of my love on myself. i still do, but it is entirely different realm of pain.

no matter how bad you're having it, you are having it good by somebody's standards.
