remember, kitzele, how i was being a dick when i drove to vancouver first time? i insisted that you take a cab to a hotel instead of me picking you up.

when you walked into my room, in your war boots and black pants, doubt and anticipation in your eyes, brave skittish kittish...you were so beautiful, my heart skipped a few beats. it still does it when i remember this moment. every time. so it was for a reason, love. that day, we both wanted to jump out of window out of happiness. i didn't tell you then. in the long list of my regrets, this is one of the sharpest.

you should not have left seattle the week before, still.
you should have stayed forever.
